Move Over October: Four Weeks Four Feats!

This October is not just about pumpkin spiced lattes! I am joining the initiative and raising funds for Monash Children’s Hospital via Move Over October.  

I will be attempting a challenge a week: 

 

Week 1: The Stair Challenge - Climb The Burj Khalifa 

Inspired by the world's tallest building at 160 floors, that is 2,909 stairs! 

 

Week 2: The Swim Challenge - Portsea to Queenscliff 

Inspired by The Rip’ swim, the distance across the bay is 7KM as the crow flies.  

 

Week 3: The Cycle Challenge - Frangers to Melbourne CBD 

Inspired by the view of the city on Frankston Pier, the journey is 53KM by pedal power. 

 

Week 4: The Strength Challenge – Enough to Lift an Elephant 
Inspired by sheer stupidity, lifting a total of 2000KG of weight over the week!

Surprisingly feeling wheelie good!

I can't deny though, I am tyred! 

The massive amount of support has really helped me push ? through.

It was very poolish of me

This last week I have come to the realisation that I am in fact, not a great swimmer. 

After going back to the drawing board to figure out how i'm going to bridge this gap, I could either go down the water slide 44 times OR extend into this week. 

Not wanting to take the easy route I will be swimming away this week to finish this overtly ambitious goal. 

Every Journey Starts with a Single Step

Literally, followed by another 560 to complete today's portion of this weeks challenge. 

Thank you for all the support I have received so far, it certainly made getting out of bed at 6AM a lot easier!
